Repeat Prescriptions

You can request a repeat prescription by using one of the following methods:

  • By leaving your computer printout or a written request in the designated box at reception
  • By completing a repeat prescription request form
  • By downloading and registering to NHS App. NHS App is the most secure way to order repeat prescriptions and you can also check status of the prescription request and nominate a pharmacy of your choice for electronic prescriptions.

Please leave a SAE (Self Addressed Envelope) if you require your prescription to be sent to you by post. Alternatively local chemists have a collection and delivery service, ask your chemist if they participate in this scheme.

Please allow 48 working hours for collection and longer if by post.

Request for repeat prescriptions will not be taken over the telephone as this leads to problems.

Requesting your prescription using online services
To use this service, you must first:

  • Register by completing an application form (available from the Surgery)
  • Produce some form of photo identification e.g. passport, photo card driving license.
  • Enter and start using online services

You can only register to access your own appointments and you must be at least 16 years old.

Once your application has been processed you will be issued with your own personal registration codes. You will need these codes every time you wish to use the online services. Please allow 2 working days for us to process your application.
