Our practice nurses are fully trained to give advice and vaccinations for patients who are about to travel abroad.
Please allow at least a month before travel to ensure there is sufficient time to give the appropriate vaccinations. Please complete the travel risk assessment form, this will need to be completed and returned to the practice before any appointment with the nurse.

We try to encourage our patients to lead healthy lives, smoking is harmful to your health and we encourage patients to give up.
Greenwich Health run smoking cessation clinics which with counselling, support and sometimes medication can help you to stop smoking.

We hold a diabetic clinic on Friday mornings, this is run by Dr Kingston and Pharmacist Mark Shek.
We aim to give our diabetic patients a high standard of care and with their co-operation ensure a healthy life.
Nurse Lindsey Wood is our lead in asthma management. For most patients who are stable on their medication a yearly review at the asthma clinic is sufficient. For patients with poorly controlled asthma or in an acute attack please make a routine or emergency appointment in the usual way.
If you have been advised by the surgery to submit an annual review of your asthma symptoms, please complete the Asthma Review form.
She also reviews chronic chest conditions such as COPD and emphysema.

Vaccines ideally need to be given at least 6 – 8 weeks before departure if possible. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.
Travel advice is covered by the NHS, however some vaccinations and prescriptions are only available privately.
